• UPS / Service & warranty 

MetaSystem Energy guarantees its products for 2 (two) years starting from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects or faulty materials.

• MetaSystem Energy branded products and Daker branded products are guaranteed for 2 (two) years against manufacturing defects and electronic failure, and for 1 (one) year against battery failure.
• The guarantee starts on the UPS production date, or on the date of purchase by the end customer. The customer must be able to prove this date by sending a copy of the proof of purchase, if so requested. Said document must indicate the date of purchase and the UPS serial number. Should said document be lost or misplaced, the date of production can be identified by way of the UPS serial number.
• MetaSystem Energy reserves the right to replace the Product with another identical product. Should this no longer be in production, or should the cost of repair be unsustainable, it may, at its own discretion, decide to replace it with another product offering identical or superior features.
• Any repairs/replacements under the guarantee do not give rise to any extension or renewal of the guarantee itself.
• The guarantee will only be deemed valid if the guarantee certificate is presented, if requested by MetaSystem Energy, filled out in full by the purchaser and accompanied by proof of purchase (till receipt for end users).
• Non-conform Product must be returned according to the instructions provided by MetaSystem Energy or its local dealer.
• The serial number on the product must not be deleted or made illegible for any reason whatsoever, under penalty of cancellation of the guarantee.

• The guarantee does not cover damage caused by carelessness, to improper use or installation failing to comply with the instructions provided, tampering, alterations to the product or to its serial number, damage caused by fortuitous causes or negligence by the purchaser. Furthermore, it does not cover failure caused by connecting the Product to any voltages other than those indicated, or by sudden shifts in the mains voltage where the appliance is connected, as well as failure caused by the infiltration of liquids, by fire, inductive/electrostatic discharge or damage caused by lightning, over voltage or other such phenomena occurring outside the appliance, including but not limited to rust and/or corrosion caused by external elements.

MetaSystem Energy refuses any other liabilities and/or charge than those explicitly mentioned in the terms of guarantee described above.
