Milan, September 21st 2006 - MetaSystem, the leading firm in the design and manufacturing of electronic security systems for Business Continuity, is kicking off its "Modular Concept Tour" on September 22nd at Catania.
The "Modular Concept Tour" will be the occasion for MetaSystem to present its UPS solutions to its dealers and partners in conjunction with its modular philosophy that lies at the centre of these highly successful products. In particular, the company will offer an overview during the tour of general aspects relating to mains electricity, as well as introducing modular UPS and providing information regarding the possibility of using software to manage them. Hands-on workshops are also planned, to be held by specialist personnel trained by MetaSystem.
The chief protagonist of the "Modular Concept Tour" will be the TRIMOD®, the on line, double conversion, modular, redundant and exceptionally scalable, three phase uninterruptible power supply, launched on July 5th this year.
The fully microprocessor-controlled TRIMOD® is top of the MetaSystem range and is available in five different power ratings from 8, 10, 16, 20 and 30 KVA. Ideal for large-scale applications and for adapting to shifts in demand made by the loads it protects, this series offers the utmost in terms of power, autonomy and redundancy: concepts which not only translate into maximum reliability but are also a guarantee of considerable cost savings. The modularity philosophy has also been applied to the batteries, which are housed in individual "hot- swappable" drawers. The load is fed simultaneously by all of the UPS modules and all the batteries contribute to the backup power without any break in supply. This safeguards the highest levels of reliability and facilitates maintenance/replacement. Any work can be carried out without having to switch off the UPS, the guarantee of zero downtime. Maintenance, in fact, is done by simply removing and replacing the power and/or battery drawer whenever necessary.
