Meta System is a partner of the international project “Viajeo”.
Meta System is taking part in the project called “Viajeo”, The International Demonstrations of the Platform for Transport and Travel Information, an info-mobility project that targets large cities recently launched in Stockholm at the 16th ITS World Congress and supported by the EU Commission.

Coordinated by the ERTICO – ITS Europe consortium, the initiative, which lasts from September 2009 to August 2012 (36 months), involves several European, Brazilian and Chinese cities.
“Viajeo” aims to design and develop a technological platform based on the collection of data from various sources – private and public vehicles and infrastructures – that will be elaborated in order to provide information services for travelers and to make the management of urban mobility and public transport more efficient. The first demonstrations will take place in Athens, São Paulo, Beijing and Shanghai.
Thanks to a multi-sector approach and the support of the Italian Ministry for Environment and Territory, the “Viajeo” project aims to provide an important contribution to reducing urban traffic congestion and environmental pollution in cities.
